Our fourth time staying here. We love it. Excellent food too.- S
The black horse hotel is in a great location in the beautiful village of Grassington. The village itself is charming and they are currently speedily do some essential maintenance work on the square and some of the roads getting ready for the upcoming Dickensian event held annually just before Christmas.The hotel is just off the square and is a picture in itself. Flags and sparkling lights add to the charm. From the moment we entered every single person was attentive, professional and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for us, myself and my husband, my mum and our two dogs. Everyone was amazing but our first contact was with Will who we saw on most days. I apologise I can’t name each person personally but every single one of you are a credit to the team. We were recommended to stay as there is currently a special on which makes it reasonable but we wanted to support the hotel and ate and drank with them every day. The food was all excellent. I think I’ll start my diet now I’m home. The bedroom was a little small but we knew that when we booked and we will make sure we choose another when we come again as I did see many more of the rooms are bigger but we wanted one with a bath. I can totally recommend this hotel, bar and restaurant and are looking forward to coming again very soon xx thank you all. Ps the girl who checked us out? You will know who you are? Long dark hair. Staff very friendly and efficient. Lovely room. Evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast excellent. It was our second stay and we will be back for a third.- Colette B
