Free car parking is available in Grassington Square or at the top of Main Street behind the Town Hall.

There is also a National Car Parks Pay & Display Car Park on Hebden Road a short walk from the Hotel.

Long Stay Tickets are non-transferable between car parks - permits overnight parking for unoccupied vehicles.

24-hour ticket - £5.00

48-hour ticket - £7.50

Weekly Tickets can also be purchased from National Park Centres and ticket machines at a cost of £15.00. Valid at all YDNPA car parks.

INTRODUCTION

Upon making your reservation with us you are entering into an agreement to adhere to our terms and conditions, which are outlined below. Once a deposit has been taken both parties are bound to this agreement.

These terms are effective whether you book directly through us via telephone or on our website, or if you book through a third party such as Booking.com, Wowcher, Expedia etc.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, and you should therefore check them each time you make a reservation. The terms and conditions applying to your reservation will be those in place on the date you made your reservation.

RESERVATIONS

You must be over 16 years of age to make a reservation.

Please check that the details of your reservation are complete and accurate, we will not be liable for any non-performance or delay as a result of incorrect information provided by you.

In order for us to secure a reservation credit/debit card details are required to secure your booking.

A deposit will be taken from the card details provided unless otherwise agreed directly with hotel management prior to your booking. This will then be taken off the total cost of your booking which is payable upon check-out.

A reservation is not considered secure without a deposit.

If we are unable to take a deposit from the card details you provide, we will attempt to contact you in order to find a suitable, alternative means of acquiring a deposit. We will give reasonable time for you to do this (“reasonable time” is at our discretion) Should we fail to reach you for any reason we reserve the right to cancel your unsecured booking.

PRICES & DEPOSITS

We adopt dynamic pricing and the price of our rooms can fluctuate. When you make a reservation request, we (or a third party operating on our behalf) will send you a total price for the rooms, number of nights and any additions you have made. The price you pay is the price quoted at the time you make the reservation.

In order to secure a booking, we will take a £40 GBP deposit per room booked. If you book 2 rooms the deposit is £80, 3 rooms the deposit is £120 etc. This deposit secures your booking and binds both parties into the agreement. A booking is not considered secure, or the agreement binding, until the appropriate deposit has been taken.
Breakfast is a complimentary inclusion for those who occupy our rooms, not part of the room price, and no discount will be offered or given for parties who decide not to have breakfast during their stay. Extra breakfasts for individuals not staying at our premises can be added at a supplementary rate.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of reservation.

The outstanding accommodation amount (total cost of room minus any deposit paid) must be settled on check out. We reserve the right to take these monies from the card details you provided upon booking should, for whatever reason, you fail to settle the outstanding amount upon leaving the hotel.

CANCELLATIONS

Changes or Cancellations to bookings made up to 7 days before the arrival time/date will be eligible to have their deposit refunded. Thereafter the deposit will be charged.

The total value of the booking will be charged if changes or cancellations are made with less than 72 hours’ notice.

At periods such as the Grassington 1940’s and Dickensian weekends, Christmas and New Year, full payment will be taken within the preceding week. During these periods’ cancellations with less than 3 weeks’ notice may be charged, this is subject to successful re-let.

We may, at any time (including during your stay), cancel your reservation with immediate effect if you break the agreement with us in any way, including, but not limited to:unacceptable or abusive behaviour:breaches of our smoking policy:damage to property:underage drinking and child endangerment:misuse of internet facilities provided by us.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

Purchases made in our bar or restaurant can be charged to your room account during your stay, provided we have valid card details to secure any account. We reserve the right to withdraw this service at any time and ask for any accounts to be settled immediately.

Additional costs may be incurred by you if you should breach the terms of our agreement, outlined here.

Additional costs may be incurred by you for any damage to, or loss of, property as a result of your behaviour, whether this is our property, a guest or a third party affiliated with our establishment.

Additional costs may be incurred by you for any breach of our smoking policy. (please see smoking policy).

Additional costs may be incurred by you for failing to vacate your room by our check-out time on the date of departure.

Any outstanding additional costs must be settled, alongside your accommodation charges, upon check out. If you fail to settle these accounts, we reserve the right to charge them to the card details you provide upon booking.

PAYMENT METHOD

Valid card details must be provided to secure a booking.

We accept Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Maestro and Mastercard for Card Payments and deposits.

We will only accept cheques for payments via prior arrangement between you and hotel management.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Rooms will be available for occupancy from 2:30pm on the date of arrival. It is your duty to inform us if your check in time is likely to be later than 11pm.

Unless otherwise agreed with us prior to your stay, rooms must be vacated by 11am on the date of departure. Failure to vacate your room by this time may result in you incurring a late check-out charge of £35 GBP.

OCCUPANCY

You must not exceed the maximum occupancy allocated to you for your room without prior agreement. We reserve the right to conduct checks on occupancy. Occupancy is not transferable.

A travel cot is available upon request, and subject to availability, for those with small children at no extra cost. Bedding for this is also available at a surcharge.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Although we will try to accommodate special requests, these are subject to availability and you may incur extra charges.

ACCESSIBILITY

Please be aware that all our rooms on the property are upstairs and are therefore not wheelchair accessible.

We will always endeavour to make reasonable adjustments for any special needs or requirements once we are aware of these. If we are unable to make adjustments that suit the requirements for you or someone in your party, we will let you know at the earliest opportunity.

DOGS

We are a dog friendly establishment and allow dogs in our Bar area, Hotel Rooms and an area of our restaurant.

Dogs are not to be left unattended in hotel rooms or on any part of the premises, dogs must be kept on a leash and under control in all public areas. Dogs are the responsibility of those who have brought them on to the hotel grounds.

We reserve the right to eject or bar from entry any dog that is unruly, out of control or causes damage within the property and its grounds.

Those who have severe reactions to animal fur and dogs should be aware that dogs are permitted in all customer areas on the premises, and therefore we cannot guarantee you will not come into contact with these potential allergens.

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF BEHAVIOUR

You must not:
•Smoke anywhere inside the property (see smoking policy).
•Bring any potentially hazardous materials or equipment onto our property.
•Tamper with any fire alarms or emergency equipment.
•Prevent management, housekeeping or maintenance from access to your room.
•Remove, damage or destroy any property that is not your own.
•Use any electrical equipment that could set off a fire alarm.
•Cause significant distress or disruption to the stay of another guest.
•Make excessive noise in the hotel corridors or rooms that might disrupt the stay of other guests
•Resell or transfer your reservation (or any part) without the management’s express authorisation

IF THERE IS ANY BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO:

•-Cancel your reservation with immediate effect and (if appropriate) eject you and your party from the premises.
•-Restrict access to the hotel, bar and restaurant, or any other part of the property.
•-Refuse future reservations from you and bar entry to you

We will not be liable for any kind of refund in the event of such circumstances. We reserve the right to cancel or decline reservations made and stays in progress of those who have previously breached these Terms and Conditions, whether the reservation is in that name or not.

LICENSE

As we are a functioning and fully licensed pub guests should expect some noise levels to occur on busy evenings and special events such as New Years, Halloween and Christmas.

On certain evenings such as the 1940’s weekend, Christmas and Halloween we have live music in our bar area. You will be advised of this prior to your stay.

Whilst we do all we can to ensure noise levels are not disruptive to the comfort of our guests there is the chance that some noise may occur.

If you wish for a quieter room, we will endeavour to ensure you are placed in one, upon prior request, and subject to availability.

Our license does not extend extra drinking time or rights to hotel guests, and guests are subject to the same licensing restrictions in terms of the sale of alcohol as non-resident customers.

SAFEGUARDING

Under the law it is our responsibility to make sure suitable control measures are in place for the protection of children from harm.

In order to adhere to the law, we reserve the right to ask any guest for valid, photographic ID, such as a passport or driving license, and securely record a copy of this information.

We also reserve the right to securely store information such as Name, address and Date of Birth in the interest of safeguarding.

We reserve the right to share this information with appropriate authorities should a valid Police request be received by us.

We reserve the right to conduct inspections of rooms should there be any concerns regarding the safeguarding of children from harm.

We reserve the right to eject or bar from entry any persons whom we have valid concerns regarding safeguarding. In such an event, appropriate authorities may be called.

YOUR RIGHTS AND APPLICABLE LAW

If you are a non-business customer, you have certain rights under consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect those rights

These terms and conditions, their subject matter and formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
If you are a consumer you and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, your reservation and/or stay at our hotel. We retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms and conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.

OUR LIABILITY

We do not accept liability for failure to meet any of our obligations where such failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control.

If we breach these terms and conditions for reasons within our control, we shall only be liable for losses that are direct losses and a reasonably foreseeable consequence of such breach.
